Our project
In our school in denmark, we have two weeks were we can make a difference. We chose to help Africa. in denmark we have an organization cald Mission Afrika, and the helped unify a lot of clothes from our school. And we wanna bring our message to the rest of the world., that there's people in need, and they need our help. We wanna hear what you have done, to help poor people.
More than 5 million chrildren under five years in Africa. every sixth child dies in africa, before it turns five.
Malnutrition is a contributing factor to half of all deaths among children under five.
In Burundi, almost half - 45% - of all children underweight. In Eritrea, 40% underweight and in Ethiopia, more than 40% of children are underweight. In West and Central Africa suffers 28% of children of underweight, in southern and eastern Africa suffers 29% of children of underweight.
Only 30% of all newborn children in Africa will be exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of their lives.
